On March 29, 2023 I gave a talk at the Library of Congress on my new book The Eleventh Plague: Jews and Pandemics from the Bible to COVID-19. The event was graciously sponsored by the the Hebraic Section of the African and Middle Eastern Division. The talk was held in the Library's magnificent Whittall Pavilion, where several works from the Library’s works collection that feature in the book were on display.
